Hot Job Market for Accounting Graduates

As discussed in a recent Journal of Accountancy article (http://m.journalofaccountancy.com/News/Article/20138181.jofa) and as I noticed while attending the National Association of Black Accountants Conference in Nashville, Tenn. a week or so ago, accounting graduates are in high demand.

The Journal article points out that last year accounting firms hired accounting grads at record levels.

According to the article, accounting firms hired over 40,000 new accounting grads in 2012 and that hiring level is expected to continue this year and next year.

Looks like it’s an excellent time to be an accounting student, particularly a graduating student.
